Safety experts agree the single most important step toward ensuring your personal safety is making the conscious decision to Refuse To Be A Victim®. You stand a much better chance of preventing criminal attack if you develop a safety plan before you need it. That is why the Refuse To Be A Victim® crime prevention seminar was developed.

The seminar teaches easy‑to‑understand methods you can use to increase awareness and prevent criminal confrontation. In just four hours, you will get the tools you need to develop your own personal safety strategy, including a course handbook and additional materials.

Course Goal

“To familiarize the student with the planning needed increase awareness and to reduce one’s vulnerability to criminal victimization.”

Lessons

    1. The psychology of the criminal mind
    2. Home & phone security
  1. Automobile & travel security
  2. Personal & technological security
  3. Self-defense devices and training options
  4. Review and questions.

Prerequisites: None

Course Completion: Students will receive a NRA certificate of attendance upon completion of the course in addition to class handouts and materials.

Cost: $20.00

Customer Responsibility/Gear:

  • Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class for check in

NOTES:

  • Students arriving more than 10 minutes after the designated start time may not be allowed into class and will need to reschedule
