NRA’s Basic Pistol
With roughly 1 million people attending NRA training courses annually, the NRA is recognized nationally as the Gold Standard for firearm safety training. The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course is a great way of learning pistol shooting certified by the top firearms training organization in the world! The NRA Basic Pistol is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation and is available as an NRA-certified instructor lead course utilizing lecture, discussion, dry-fire practice, and live-fire practice.
The class will include the use of a rental gun at no additional cost, and if desired included the use of a .22 caliber hand gun and 100 included rounds of .22LR rounds. Students may use their own defensive handgun and ammo.
Ammunition for the .22 caliber firearm, if used is included. Students will receive a detailed course handout and additional information on available resources.

Course Completion: Students will receive an NRA certificate of attendance upon completion of the course as well as a copy of the NRA’s book Basic Pistol Shooting Student Packet

- .22LR Handguns and 100 Rounds of 22LR Ammunition
- Students are welcome to bring their own handgun and ammunition (100 rounds)

NOTES:
- Rental handguns must use ammunition purchased from Indy Arms
- Students under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult (ask about a youth discount for training classes)
- Students arriving more than 10 minutes after the designated start time may not be allowed into class and will need to reschedule
***Please come in 15- 20 min early to complete the necessary check in process before any training class. This will give us time to verify your range waiver at the counter. This is also the time to buy ammo, Holster, Hearing protection, anything you will need for the class. Classes start promptly and we don’t want you to miss anything.***
